A molecular biology major responded to an end-of-semester survey to this file: Buddhi Rai has been one of my favorite teachers this semester. In fall when PHYS was online I didn't quite resonate with the course. Throughout this entire semester I have been exclaiming how much I love this course. Physics courses taught by Buddhi should one thousand percent be taught in person. His energy is infectious. He built a rapport with me as a student that assured me that I was in class everyday. I wanted to be there everyday. I enjoyed learning from him, I enjoyed listening to him, I enjoyed getting to know him and his story. He made each class fun and unique. He gave us the opportunity to not only learn, but to excel. I personally feel like I performed the best in this course, out of all my courses this semester. I was happy coming to class everyday and felt a connection to this course. I am a molecular biology major, but after spending this past not only semester, but year with Buddhi I almost considered changing my major to physics. He instilled a confidence in me that I truly appreciate.
